OUR MISSION

The First Tee of Atlanta's mission is to positively impact the lives of Atlanta's young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

John A. White Park Golf Course serves as home to The First Tee of Atlanta; offering complimentary instruction, equipment and facility access to all Atlanta juniors age 7-17. The First Tee of Atlanta is a USGA Supported Program.

Play 9 - Live the Values!
April - June 2010 

We will conduct our Spring fundraiser, Play 9 - Live the Values! for nine weeks, beginning April 5.

Play 9 - Live the Values! is a no-play event; rather, it emphasizes living out The First Tee Nine Core Values of Courtesy, Confidence, Honesty, Integrity, Judgment, Perseverance, Respect, Responsibility and Sportsmanship every day.   New Program Affiliate
Fox Creek Golf Course is now a program affiliate of The First Tee of Atlanta. This partnership will allow more children to be involved in the program, as both life skills and golf skills classes will be offered at the Fox Creek location. Please contact The First Tee of Atlanta if you have any questions about the Fox Creek program.
  Military Affiliate Program
The first 2010 session of The First Tee programming at Fort McPherson is underway! Children, ages 7 to 18, of active military personnel, Department of Defense civilians and contractors are eligible to participate. Participants learn valuable life skills along with the game of golf.
