What’s new at The First Tee of Atlanta

About The First Tee of Atlanta

Based in Southwest Atlanta at the John A. White Golf Course, The First Tee of Atlanta is a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching Atlanta youth life skills and golf skills in a seamless fashion. The First Tee of Atlanta was founded in 2000 and is a chapter of The First Tee, an international youth program created by the World Golf Foundation in 1997.

Annually, The First Tee of Atlanta serves metro Atlanta area young people using the 9-hole golf course, 40+ Tee Range and practice green of John A. White in a manner that allows the facility to be open to the public year round.

Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for the latest updates!

We here at John A. White would like to thank you for your continued patience and support. As you may know, we are currently closed, as we install paved cart paths! This is an exciting time for us and we look forward to opening back up for public play and have you see the vast improvements!  We have completely repaved and repainted our driveway (Photo 1Photo 2Photo 3) and about 90% of the cart path has been cut in!

Please note that the driving range will remain open during cart path installation. We have a few more days of summer camp, so beginning on Monday, July 28th, the driving range will have the following hours of operation:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am until 6:00 pm

Saturday  8:00 am until 3:00 pm

Sunday Closed

We are hoping the weather cooperates with us a little better going forward, but either way, we will not be deterred! We look forward to having you back out here, playing our course hopefully between mid to late August!

Again, thank you for your support and patience!
